Sinclair Black Watch
The Black Watch is an LED electronic wristwatch launched in September 1975 by Sinclair Radionics. It cost £24.95 ready-built, or £17.95 as kit.
The Black Watch featured a red LED display, which is illuminated only when the watch is pressed.
Sadly the watch had a number of techinical problems such as a short battery life, inaccurate time keeping and was very sensitive to static which could destroy the electronics of the watch.
