Step into the analogue era with the Mitsubishi CP-149 Colour Receiver—a solid 14″ CRT television straight out of the early 1980s. Encased in matte grey plastics with side-mounted speaker panels and chunky channel dials, this TV gives off nostalgic weekend afternoons and static-filled test cards.

Its sunken screen bezel and tactile control knobs are ideal for any scene in suburban living rooms, budget hotel lounges, or tech backdrops after 1979. The picture quality isn’t HDTV—but that’s part of its charm. It’s not just a TV—it’s a time capsule.

(Pro tip: too early for 1970s sets, and by the late ’80s it’ll look a bit too bulky to pass for modern—it’s very era-specific.)

If you're looking to fit out an entire set and need many items, we are happy to quote a discounted rate based on the quantity of items.

Dry Hire

The term dry hire means to hire an item without having a technician supplied to support it. Most of our small items are available to dry hire, but some of the more complicated equipment that require specialist knowledge are not. In these cases we will deliver the item(s) personally and set them up for you. Please call us for a quotation based on the hire period and location.
