Unusual design from Philips with speakers that can be attached to the sides.
It has a physical form very different from traditional music systems, and was part of Philips' up-market range dubbed 'The Collection', released to celebrate their 100th year, and which also included some of their Matchline range.
The CD player is mounted at an angle under the sloping front lid in front of the top mounted "carry handle". A swing open door below the LCD display provides the control buttons for CDs. It also features an AM/FM/LW radio tuner and also has twin logic-controlled cassette decks.
The main unit contains three amplifiers, with an internal sub-woofer in its base, and two 'satellite' mid range/HF speakers. The speakers may be either clipped into both sides of the main cabinet, or remotely positioned, as required. The system's basic functions are supplemented by a clock timer and 40-function remote control (not present).

Minimum Order Charge
We do have a minimum order charge of £50 (excluding delivery) for all hires. This is to cover the time involved in organising and dispatching a single small item. Sorry :-(
Payment
New clients are required to pay in advance by BACS or credit card. Repeat customers can open a credit account with us on 30 days terms.
Multiple Items & Job Lots
If you're looking to fit out an entire set and need many items, we are happy to quote a discounted rate based on the quantity of items.
Dry Hire
The term dry hire means to hire an item without having a technician supplied to support it. Most of our small items are available to dry hire, but some of the more complicated equipment that require specialist knowledge are not. In these cases we will deliver the item(s) personally and set them up for you. Please call us for a quotation based on the hire period and location.
