Vintage TV Stack
"Lemmy" (named after Motorhead's legendary lead singer) is a fully working central stack of televisions. It uses 12 vintage CRT televisions of ages ranging from the 70s to the 90s. It is designed to go between our Shelly and Cherry vintage TV stacks, but can also stand alone.
It stands 201.5cm high (at the highest point), 141cm wide and 62cm deep, and comes complete with a wooden support structure that allows the TVs to be stacked safely. It can be run safely from a single 13A socket drawing less than 5A. We would recommend that you leave 0.5m space behind for the playback equipment and for us to connect the screens together.
The televisions stack with a straight vertical edge on either side so that it can stand next to our other stacks creating larger installations.
The support structure is built specifically to fit these televisions so we are unable to supply this in any different configuration. However, we can create custom builds for you if required.
All of the TVs are fully working original televisions. We can display any footage you want on them. We also have a video playback system designed to work with CRT televisions that will work for many installations from unmanned shop installs to theatre installations where specific timings are required. Minimum Order Charge
We do have a minimum order charge of £50 (excluding delivery) for all hires. This is to cover the time involved in organising and dispatching a single small item. Sorry :-(
Payment
New clients are required to pay in advance by BACS or credit card. Repeat customers can open a credit account with us on 30 days terms.
Multiple Items & Job Lots
If you're looking to fit out an entire set and need many items, we are happy to quote a discounted rate based on the quantity of items.
Dry Hire
The term dry hire means to hire an item without having a technician supplied to support it. Most of our small items are available to dry hire, but some of the more complicated equipment that require specialist knowledge are not. In these cases we will deliver the item(s) personally and set them up for you. Please call us for a quotation based on the hire period and location.
