The Sony KX-14CP1 is a 14-inch color video monitor, part of Sony’s “ProFeel” line—a modular, high-performance series marketed to video enthusiasts and professionals in the late ‘80s. With its clean, squared-off design, large front-mounted speaker grille, and composite video inputs, the KX-14CP1 screams post-VHS boom but pre-flat-screen—perfectly in step with the analog aesthetic of late-1980s to early-1990s home video setups.
This set wouldn’t look out of place in an upscale 1988 living room, a VHS editing suite, or tucked into a broadcast control rack circa 1990. But it’d be an anachronism in a late ‘70s drama or anything pre-1985. The styling and tech features (like SCART support in some regions) firmly plant it in the Reagan-to-Bush Sr. crossover years.

Minimum Order Charge
We do have a minimum order charge of £50 (excluding delivery) for all hires. This is to cover the time involved in organising and dispatching a single small item. Sorry :-(
Payment
New clients are required to pay in advance by BACS or credit card. Repeat customers can open a credit account with us on 30 days terms.
Multiple Items & Job Lots
If you're looking to fit out an entire set and need many items, we are happy to quote a discounted rate based on the quantity of items.
Dry Hire
The term dry hire means to hire an item without having a technician supplied to support it. Most of our small items are available to dry hire, but some of the more complicated equipment that require specialist knowledge are not. In these cases we will deliver the item(s) personally and set them up for you. Please call us for a quotation based on the hire period and location.
