The K850i launched in Q4 2007 as the final flagship in the Cyber-shot series before Sony Ericsson shifted focus toward smartphones. It boasted a 5-megapixel camera with Xenon flash, an innovative capacitive keypad, and 3G support—making it one of the most advanced camera phones of its time.

Ideal for a 2007–2009 setting where a character is tech-forward but not quite into smartphones yet. The K850i was the go-to for early mobile photography enthusiasts—perfect for a teenager obsessed with selfies, a blogger before blogging was a job, or a slightly smug uncle at a birthday party telling everyone, “This takes better photos than your digital camera.”

In anything earlier than 2007, it’d feel out of place. Anything after 2010, it might read as “deliberately holding on”—like someone who refuses to upgrade because “this one still works just fine.”

Minimum Order Charge

We do have a minimum order charge of £50 (excluding delivery) for all hires. This is to cover the time involved in organising and dispatching a single small item. Sorry :-(

Payment

New clients are required to pay in advance by BACS or credit card. Repeat customers can open a credit account with us on 30 days terms.

Multiple Items & Job Lots

If you're looking to fit out an entire set and need many items, we are happy to quote a discounted rate based on the quantity of items.

Dry Hire

The term dry hire means to hire an item without having a technician supplied to support it. Most of our small items are available to dry hire, but some of the more complicated equipment that require specialist knowledge are not. In these cases we will deliver the item(s) personally and set them up for you. Please call us for a quotation based on the hire period and location.
